About Raquelle

Raquelle Pedraza is a fashion designer, stylist, and celebrity tailor known for her expertise in haute couture, pattern making, and luxury craftsmanship. With a career spanning over a decade, she has worked with renowned designers, top fashion brands, and high-profile celebrities, establishing herself as a creative force in the fashion industry.

Her journey began in Mexico City, where from 2011 to 2014, she worked closely with Spanish bridal designer Charo Peres, one of the pioneers of bridal ready-to-wear. Under Peres’ mentorship, Raquelle mastered unique couture techniques and pattern-making skills that would later define her craftsmanship.

In 2014, an unexpected opportunity brought her to New York City, where she started working for Sonja Morgan, a cast member of The Real Housewives of New York. Initially joining as an intern, she quickly advanced to the role of personal assistant, managing schedules, emails, appointments, and assisting with the production of the reality show. She accompanied Morgan to all her recordings, interviews, and public appearances, playing a crucial role in her professional and personal life.

In 2017, Raquelle launched her own brand, Raquelle Pedraza, in Mexico, opening a boutique specializing in custom-made, haute couture-inspired designs. Her made-to-measure pieces gained a loyal clientele, driving high demand and strong sales.

By November 2018, she returned to New York to work again with Sonja Morgan, now taking on the additional role of her personal stylist. She secured partnerships with designers and brands, carefully curating Morgan’s wardrobe for the reality show, media appearances, and high-profile events. One of her most successful styling moments was selecting Morgan’s look for The Real Housewives of New York Season 12 reunion in 2020.

In October 2020, Raquelle transitioned into independent fashion styling, assisting renowned stylists such as Anya Ziourova, Fashion Director of Vogue Hong Kong, on multiple covers and editorials. She also worked alongside stylist Dylan Wayne on campaigns for brands like Nike.

By 2021, she had established herself as an independent fashion designer, developing collections for brands such as Kate Barton, Pronovias, Alix of Bohemia, and Undone by Kate. Her technical expertise earned her the trust of these brands, allowing her to oversee the entire creative process—from sketching and pattern making to fabric selection and garment construction. Through these collaborations, she created designs for celebrities like Beyoncé and high-end retailers like Moda Operandi. She continues to provide design consultancy to select clients.

In 2022, she launched Tailored by RP, blending her passion for styling with her technical skills to become a sought-after celebrity tailor. Her clientele includes leading fashion stylists such as Micaela Erlanger, Jeanann Williams, Molly Dickson, Maeve Reilly, Erin Walsh, Wayman + Micah, and Jake Sokoloff. She has tailored looks for A-list celebrities, including Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Naomi Watts, Robert Downey Jr., Lupita Nyong’o, Taraji P. Henson, and Whoopi Goldberg. She has also collaborated with prestigious brands like Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Fendi, Prada, Acne Studios, DL1961, Sports Illustrated, and Peloton.

In 2023, she signed with NEXT Management as a designer, tailor, and pattern maker, further expanding her influence in the fashion industry while maintaining her independent projects.

That same year, she relaunched her brand Raquelle Pedraza, dressing notable personalities such as Camille Kostek, Brittany Mahomes, Hunter McGrady, and Quincy Morgan. She opened a physical boutique in Mexico City and was featured in Harper’s Bazaar Latin America. Currently, she is preparing for the official U.S. launch of her brand in 2025.

Raquelle continues to push the boundaries of craftsmanship, tailoring, and luxury fashion.
